Two ways: search for someone directly by their WaySide username inside the app, or generate a join link and drop it in your group chat. Anyone with the link taps it, sees the trip preview, and joins in one tap. You can invite people as editors or view-only, so family members can follow along without changing anything.
WaySide gives you a personal import address. Forward any booking confirmation there, from flights, hotels, car rentals, restaurants, activities or anything else, and the AI parses it into itinerary items. You review and approve before anything is added to your trip.
Any itinerary item with a cost can have a split attached to it. You specify who paid and who owes. Quick-select options like "I paid" and "she owes" handle the simple cases, while custom splits let you go as detailed as you need: absolute amounts, percentages, or share-based allocations across the whole group. At the end of the trip, WaySide calculates simplified settlement transactions that clear all balances in the fewest payments possible, in whichever currency you choose.
